11/4 Ravioli Making Workshop

Join us at Swallowtail Farm for a ravioli-making class on November 4 at 4:00 p.m. Sarah-Beth Censoni-Johnson learned from her Nonna (Italian for grandma) how to make pasta when she was a girl. It has always been a passion of hers. She owned and operated Nonna's Noodles in Portland, OR for 7 years and has made thousands of pounds of pasta. She specializes in egg based pastas, which only take 2-3 mins to cook. Now based in the Lansing area, she's ready to share her knowledge of pasta-making with us. We'll be making butternut squash ravioli, with squash and eggs from the farm. At the end of the workshop, participants will sit down to share a tasting of the ravioli prepared in a simple, farm-sourced ‘sauce’ and also have some ravioli to take home with them. We'll have Swallowtail Farm natural fruit sodas available, or you are welcome to bring along your favorite thing to sip on.
